Fox, Morter, & Associates Consulting, LLC was established in 2006 by Theresa Fox to be a catalyst that starts-up, empowers, develops, and networks businesses, nonprofits, and community development organizations facilitating city or regional transformation. Fox Morter has years of statistically proven industry best practices in our tool kit, but what sets us apart is our pioneering out-of-the-box, city wide visionary strategic planning and networking to transform regions. By supplying our trademarked GIFT framework of principles, we lead community wide efforts of revitalization and leadership development as well as serving individual organizations. We build sustainable businesses, nonprofits, and community development organizations individually, and network them strategically in alliances that multiplies their efforts to lead and transform their communities.

Theresa Fox, founder and president of Fox, Morter, & Associates Consulting, LLC began actively establishing , funding, developing, and advising Christian nonprofits in 1990.
Raised in a hardworking entrepreneurial family, Theresa, a wife and mother of four, was a designer for an architectural firm when she quit to stay home with her children. She soon saw the destruction the hometown at-risk teens faced and so learned from the ground up how to start-up, fund, govern, and grow a nonprofit ministry for teens. It became a family affair with all participating in building a teen drop in, restaurant, coffee house, skate park/shop, theater, arts studio, etc.within the organization. Funders began to hold them up as an example and so sent other organizational leadership to observe. Fox Morter consulting was born, albeit it on a volunteer basis. Their ministry ranked in the top third among Pennsylvania nonprofits when Theresa left it to pursue her passion, the bigger picture of city transformation. Following in the footsteps of a mentor who not only built businesses and nonprofit organizations but citywide leadership foundations internationally, that passion led to a master's degree in practical ministry majoring in city transformation and leadership. She continued to hone organizational building skills becoming a nonprofit consultant certified through PANO (See Partner Links) who literally wrote the book on "Standards for Excellence". Specializing in long term sustainability particularly through vision, planning, infra-structure that incorporates business start-ups, and strategically aligning an organization for success within a community ... the Regional Transformation GIFT Development Project emerged. GIFT, a trademark of Fox Morter, is an acronym for Goods, Infrastructure, Funding, and Teams of Volunteers (Please see GIFT Project ).
One truth or principle of the GIFT regional transformation project is that money is like blood that flows through a healthy, living community carrying everything it needs to grow, and if money is like blood business is the heart that pumps it. So while purposing to learn more about healthy enterprise from a fortune 500 consultant particularly as this relates to a practical application of the GIFT project, Theresa also earned an international business degree from Regent University. With basic organizational development and leadership skills established, she was then chosen to join a business consultants' network, 500 strong, to shift concentration from nonprofit to acquiring specific business tools. As a result she now utilizes a well-rounded skill set including development of everything from individual start-ups to transformational regional alliances.
